Shore Urology, P.A., has built a sound reputation in the treatment of urologic cancers, infections, stones, incontinence, and in the treatment of male infertility by applying the most up to date knowledge. Many diagnostic and minor surgical procedures are performed in our offices utilizing the most advanced technologies available. Other diagnostic and surgical procedures are performed at Central Jersey Surgery Center and medical centers utilizing the most advanced technologies available, including

• laparoscopy,
• radiation seed implantation,
• lithotripsy, and
• robotic surgery.

As an example of our commitment to using the most advanced techniques, we are among a handful of places in the U.S. using a new and faster treatment method for prostate cancer radiation. For this pioneering work, our physicians received statewide recognition in 1999. The Gallo Award was presented through The Cancer Institute of New Jersey and the New Jersey State Commission on Cancer Research, in recognition of data presented on patients treated with an advanced prostate cancer radiation therapy. This advanced method reduces the overall treatment time for disease usually required by standard radiotherapy. Radiation treatment time is reduced from 8 weeks to 5 weeks.
